Miguel is a thorough hands-on practitioner of film making. He thrives by immersing himself in the creation of storyboards, concept designs, miniature sets, practical effects, and cinematography.
He enjoys directly executing the process to create fully realized CG environments, creatures, and universes. Miguel has worked on characters in films such as AVATAR, Thor, Jack the Giant Slayer, and The Last Airbender. He directed "The Green Ruby Pumpkin," which landed him a spot at Spy Films as a commercial director.
Ruairi Robinson is known mainly for his science-fiction short films and animations, one of which was nominated for an Academy Award. Fifty Percent Grey was also included in the Animation Show of Shows. The Silent City concerns a group of soldiers wandering through a perilous post-apocalyptic wasteland; the cast includes actor Cillian Murphy. BlinkyTM, his most recent short film, is a horror story about a robot family helper that goes wrong. BlinkyTM was released on March 20, 2011, and will possibly spawn a sequel entitled BlinkyTM: Part II.
In 2013, Robinson directed The Last Days on Mars, the adaptation of the science-fiction short story '"The Animators" by Sydney J. Bounds. In early 2015 he directed the short film The Leviathan, which became a viral hit, spawning production of a full length version.
Filmmaker and CG/VFX supervisor
Kevin Margo is director of the hit sci-fi short film “Grounded”. He joined Blur studio in 2003 as a scene assembly, lighting and compositing artist and has since moved into the studio’s VFX/CG Supervisor role. Recent work includes the prologue for Thor 2: The Dark World and the David Fincher produced Halo 4: Scanned cinematic trailer. He is currently at work completing his original short film, CONSTRUCT.
Lighting Lead, Method Studios
Kevin Sears is an accomplished CG artist in the field of Light and Look Development at Method Studios in Los Angeles where he has been part of the expansive growth in feature VFX development for the last 4 years. His specialty in look development with V-Ray is displayed in Marvel's Avengers, Iron Man 3, Real Steel, and Tron: Legacy. Most recently, he produced digital environment and character effects for Thor 2: Dark World, Divergent, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Los Angeles destruction in San Andreas.
VR Director & VFX Supervisor, Legend3D
Justin Denton is a VR director and VFX supervisor. He has worked in the entertainment industry for 12 years, cutting his teeth on previs for 7 years before moving on to VFX supervision for feature films and commercial projects. He spent the past 2 years working on special venue and dome projects and is now heading up the VR division for Legend3D. His credits include Beware Crimson Peak, Battleship, Eagle Eye, Terminator Salvation and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. He holds a B.F.A. in Drawing & Painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Co-Founder & Visual Effects Supervisor, Atomic Fiction
Kevin is co-founder and VFX Supervisor at Atomic Fiction, a studio pioneering the use of cloud computing to improve the filmmaking process. There, he has supervised visuals for projects including FLIGHT, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, two TRANSFORMERS franchise installments, and Robert Zemeckis's upcoming film, THE WALK. He is also CEO of the groundbreaking cloud rendering platform, ConductorIO, which will be releasing to the public by the end of 2015.
Before launching Atomic Fiction and ConductorIO, Baillie supervised at ImageMovers Digital on motion capture-driven features, and at The Orphanage on award-winning movies such as PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, SUPERMAN RETURNS, HARRY POTTER and HELLBOY.
Baillie's film career began very early on, when he joined Lucasfilm's JAK Films division as a pre-visualization artist on STAR WARS EPISODE I at the age of 18.

Todd oversees the media and entertainment rendering roadmap for Google Cloud Platform.
He joined Google via the acquisition of Zync Render, a turnkey cloud rendering solution, at which he led product and business strategy. Prior to Zync he held numerous product development and technology roles in computer graphics at GenArts, Inc.
He holds a B.S. from New York University.
Filmmaker and Creative Director, Framestore
Award winning filmmaker Ben West was born in Sydney, Australia, grew up in Papua New Guinea and is now based in Los Angeles. His work illustrates a mastery of comedy with the use of visual effects. The critically acclaimed film FUGU & TAKO represents the evolution of this unique director’s vision for storytelling.
Ben has been a visual effects supervisor at Academy Award winning studios, a director at Radical media, he got a Masters in Directing and is also an Architect. A veritable swiss army knife or a dog’s breakfast depending on your perspective. Whatever the case, Ben’s focus remains on telling a good story. He’s driven by a passion for good performance and visual effects being a part of that journey. The line between reality and make-believe is getting thinner, balancing on that wire is what Ben does best.
Ben is currently Creative Director at Framestore in Los Angeles. In addition to developing, FUGU & TAKO into a Graphic Novel, Ben’s current projects include aliens, a three-armed man and zombies.
R&D Engineer, ILM
Jeroen Schulte studied at the Graphic School of Arts in Amsterdam, where he trained in various traditional arts and graduated with honors. He was one of the first graduates from the school to graduate with a degree in Multi-media design.
Currently based in San Francisco, Jeroen is an accomplished Senior Compositor. Before joining ILM, Jeroen worked as Lead Flame and Head of Systems for Condor Digital. He has worked on a wide range of projects, including commercials, films and music promos for a diverse range of internationally known clients.
Jeroen joined ILM in 2009 as a Software Engineer for ILM’s Sabre high-speed compositing system and Digital Artist and has worked on such projects as Super 8, Rango, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Marvel’s The Avengers. Jeroen lives in San Francisco with his wife Anke.
CG Specialist, Chaos Group
Kalina joined the Chaos Group CG team in 2012 and since then she’s been actively working with V-Ray for Maya and V-Ray for 3ds Max. She has more than eight years experience in graphic design, photography, and visual arts. Before joining Chaos Group, Kalina worked in creative for the advertising industry.

Simeon Balabanov is highly trained in 3D modeling and rendering, with over 11 years of applied experience. Before joining Chaos Group, he worked as a CG supervisor at some of the biggest animation studios in Bulgaria. Since joining the Chaos Group CG team in 2012, Simeon has become one of the company's top presenters for V-Ray for 3ds Max and V-Ray for Maya. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technical University – Sofia.
